Hello again!

We are currently on a plane to Cincinnati, in order to get to Maryland...a bit out of the way. We are getting into the ACC season now, starting out last weekend with Virginia and Virginia Tech. The Virginia game was a disappointing loss, but the highlight came when Jayme ran out on the field before they started announcing players. She stood there alone for a bit and it was pretty hilarious. We came out Sunday with a completely different attitude and really put together a solid 90 minute performance, beating Virginia Tech, 4-0. We played hard and got the "shutout" we were after. It was a good sign that we could come back from the loss and get an ACC win.

We actually get to fly into D.C. and Sarah and Keisha are excited about seeing the Washington Monument and all the other historical American buildings. They have been giddy for days. On the soccer side, we are looking for redemption from the last time we played at Maryland's field, and hope to come out on fire. Then we travel up north to Boston for our first ever game against Boston College.

Off the field we have been keeping busy with school and midterms. Amber is recovering nicely from her four injuries, but we lost two other key players this week. Kristen is having surgery tomorrow on her knee so our thoughts are with her holding down 904. Kristina is also very much with the team right now in spirit, we miss her determination and attitude! The only other injuries are thanks to Porter and her rock hard soccer balls.

Thanks for reading, and we'll keep you posted on this weekend! Only 3 home games left this year, so we hope to see you out at Spry!!
