Talented and athletic player who turned in a superb season in 1998 ... after playing in the midfield in each of her first two seasons, she moved to forward midway through 1998 and immediately left her mark ... enters her senior season as Wake Forest’s career leader in goals (21), assists (23) and points (65) ... has played in all 64 games in her career at Wake Forest, getting 63 starting assignments ... spent the summer of 1999 playing with the Piedmont Spark of the USL’s W-League ... the 1999 team Captain.
In 1998: Played in all 21 matches, making 20 starts ... set single season school records for goals (11), assists (10) and points (32) ... ranked 8th in the ACC in points, 8th in goals, and 9th in assists ... had three game-winning goals on the season, including two in dramatic fashion against Maryland ... netted the first during the regular season when she scored with 3:54 left in OT to give the Deacs a 3-2 win ... the second came in the ACC Tournament quarterfinals when she scored with just 0:05 remaining in regulation to give WFU the 2-1 victory ... named the ACC Player of the Week on Oct. 4 with three goals in the ACC-SEC Challenge ... also earned all-tournament honors in the two-day event.
In 1997: Had a solid all-around season and played and started all 21 matches at midfield ... led the team with seven assists and ranked second on the club with 15 points ... had a part in each of Wake Forest’s first eight goals of the season, scoring four goals and assisting on four others ... named the MVP of the Wake Forest/Nike Invitational after scoring three goals and assisting on another in two games.
In 1996: Played in and started all 22 matches as a rookie .. tabbed to the 1996 ACC All-Tournament team ... named MVP of the Wake Forest Kickoff Classic after scoring three goals in two games ... scored two goals in her first collegiate outing, a 3-0 Wake Forest win over LaSalle.
