ATHENS, Ga. - The Wake Forest Women's Golf Team completed the second day of the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic at the University of Georgia-Athens. The Deacs are currently in fifth place with a score of 301, just ten strokes behind leading Duke University.

The Deacons are currently lead by junior Marta Prieto who shot a 73 for the second day giving her a total of 143 and placing her in ninth place. Freshman Maria Beautell is currently tied for 16th with a two day total of 150, while freshman Nuria Clau is tied for 20th with a 151.

The Deacons will return to action April 2 for the third day of competition. The Women's Golf Team will then compete in the ACC Championships in Clemmons, NC on April 14-16.
