After a strong performance at the Penn State National Meet this past weekend, the Wake Forest men and women's indoor track and field squads head to Chapel Hill, NC on Saturday to compete in the Carolina Heels Challenge at the Dick Taylor Track in the Eddie Smith Fieldhouse. The meet will feature 14 different collegiate teams, including Appalachian State, Campbell, Davidson, Duke, North Carolina, South Florida and William & Mary.
The Demon Deacons are coming off of exceptional performances at the Penn State National Meet from Nikeya Green, who took third in the 800m with a NCAA provisional qualifying time of 2:07.96, and the men's 4 x 400 Meter Relay team, who set a new school record with a time of 3:18.25. The foursome captured 11th place as Eric Seely led off the relay, Patrick Ladapo ran the second leg, Mike Brown took the third and Willie Idelette finished the anchor.
