Wake Forest's Nikeya Green (So., middle distance, Woodbridge, VA) ran a 2:07.21 in the women's 800m preliminary on Friday to qualify for the finals and the Demon Deacon men's distance medley relay team finished ninth at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships at the University of Arkansas' Randal Tyson Indoor Track in Fayetteville, AR.
Repeating last year's NCAA Championship ninth-place performance in the men's DMR, Nathan Sisco (So., distance, Lebanon, NJ), Ryan Hamilton (Sr., sprints, Greenville, SC), Paul Singleton (Jr., middle distance, Greenville, SC) and Chris Estwanik (Sr., distance, Dublin, OH) just missed All-American honors with a time of 9:36.76.
Green will compete in the women's 800m finals Saturday afternoon. If she finishes in the top eight, she will earn All-American honors.
Carol Merritt (So, sprints, Raleigh, NC) finished 15th in the women's 200m preliminary with a time of 23.89, not making the cut for finals.
