Wake Forest Finishes ACC Indoor Track And Field Championships
Men take sixth place with 58 points, women finish seventh with 44 points.

BLACKSBURG, Va. - The Wake Forest men's and women's track teams concluded competition today at the ACC Indoor Track and Field Championship. The men's team finished in sixth place with 58 points, while the women's team finished seventh with 44 points.
Senior Jill Snyder repeated as the ACC champion in the one mile with a time of 4:51.23 in the event. Senior Janelle Kraus also ran well capturing second place in the 3,000 meter run with a time of 9:33.31. The 4x400 relay team came in fourth, just finishing one-half second behind NC State.
For the men's team, junior John Stone finished second in the 200 meter dash with a time of 21.23 and third in the 60 meter dash with a time of 6.80 seconds. Sophomore Chris Estwanick finished second in the one mile with a 4:09.48, while junior Stephan Pro ran the 3,000 meter in 8:23.55, good for fourth. Junior John Bull cleared 6'08.00 in the high jump, earning fourth place, and sophomore Cliff Neal captured third in the weight throw with a measure of 57'02.25.
Both teams will return to competition March 10-11 at the NCAA Indoor Championships.
