Winston-Salem, N.C. - The Wake Forest men's and women's tennis teams will host an ACC doubleheader on Wednesday afternoon at the Leighton Tennis Stadium on the Wake Forest campus. The Deacon men will face North Carolina at 2:00 p.m., while the women's team will also face the Tar Heels in a 5:30 p.m. contest.

Both matches are important in terms of ACC standings, as the teams begin the home stretch of the regular season. The Wake Forest men's team is currently 10-7 overall with a 2-2 ACC mark. They will be looking to hand the Tar Heels their first ACC loss of the season, as UNC is 8-5 on the year with a perfect 4-0 conference record. North Carolina is currently ranked 48th nationally while the Wake men are right behind the Heels at 49th.

On the women's side, both the Tar Heels and the Deacons are ranked among the nation's Top 25. UNC is currently 14th while Wake Forest is listed 24th in the rankings. North Carolina is 10-4 overall with a 1-1 ACC mark, while WFU is 11-6 overall and sitting atop the ACC standings with a 4-0 mark. The Deacon women are riding a five-match winning streak, with their last two victories coming over Top 10 opponents. WFU will also be looking to defend its homecourt, as the Deacs are undefeated in Winston-Salem this season.

Admission is free to both matches, and free pizza will be offered to spectators during the day's events. In the case of inclement weather, the matches will take place at the WFU Indoor Tennis Center, located behind Groves Stadium.
