WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest men's tennis team will open the 2000 spring season with matches against the East Carolina Pirates and the UNC Wilmington Seahawks at the Wake Forest Indoor Tennis Center on Saturday, Feb. 5.

The Deacons will take on ECU at 10 a.m. and then will face UNC Wilmington at 3 p.m. Wake is coming off an impressive showing at the ACC Indoor Championships last month. The Deacons placed three singles players (Michael Berger, Raul Munoz and Michael Murray) in the round of 16 at the ACC Indoors, while the doubles duo of Munoz and Murray reached the tournament's semifinal round.
