CLEMSON, S.C. - The Wake Forest men's tennis team was defeated by the 33rd-ranked Clemson Tigers 5-3 on Saturday.

Wake won two of the six singles matches. Freshman Michael Murray defeated Brad Emendorfer 6-2, 6-2 at No. 3 singles. Justin Kaufmann won at No. 5, defeating Marko Gojanovic 6-3, 3-3, retired.

With the loss, Wake drops to 8-9 overall and 1-4 in the ACC. The Deacs will be back in action on Sunday when they play at Furman.
