Dec. 16, 1999

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Members of the Wake Forest men's soccer team have been named to two post-season All-Star teams for the 1999 season.

The Deacons placed three members on the All-South Region team named by the NSCAA/Adidas All-America Committee. Senior Chad Evans and sophomore Jamal Seale were named to the second team, while senior goalkeeper Sean Conner received third team honors.

Evans and fellow senior David Kawesi-Mukooza were named to the Men's East Squad for the Umbro Select College All-Star Classic to be held Feb. 3-6, 2000 at Lockhart Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

Evans, Seale, Conner and Mukooza were all named to the All-ACC teams earlier this season. The Deacons are coming off a season in which they posted a 13-3-5 record and were ranked as high as third nationally. Wake also reached the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
