The No. 19 Wake Forest men's soccer team closes its 2005 regular season before a national televised audience on Friday, Nov. 4 against No. 4 Virginia. Kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. on the Fox Soccer Channel. All fans are encouraged to wear black and gold.
"This is not only tremendous for college soccer, but for our program as well," said 12th-year head coach Jay Vidovich. "This is a true sign as to the development and growth of our game across the country. I am excited for the entire country to see how the fans of this community support our program."
The first 500 children through the gate will recieve a Wake Forest Soccer t-shirt compliments of Optimist Soccer League.
The 2005 Wake Forest senior class of Justin Moose, Grey Ballard, Marcellus Tennyson and Wes Allen will be honored prior to the match. The on-field ceremony will take place at 7:45 p.m.
