Demon Deacons Return Rested, Ready
Wake Forest returns to action on Tuesday after having the weekend off. The Deacons are unbeaten in their last seven games and will seek a sixth consecutive win on Tuesday evening as the Deacons host High Point at Spry Stadium. The game is part of an eight-game homestand. Wake Forest will get back into conference play for the first time in nearly a month against North Carolina on Saturday night at Spry.
White Leads The ACC in Goals, Points
Sophomore Jeremiah White carries the title of the ACC's top scorer for the third straight week. White has 10 goals in 11 games, a total of 23 points. White has a goal in each of his last five games and has registered a point in every game since Sept. 17. White is looking to become the first Deacon to lead the ACC in scoring since Mark Erwin in 1983.
Hesmer Among ACC Goalkeeper Leaders
William Hesmer leads the conference in save percentage with an .831 mark, well ahead of the second place Scott Maslin of Duke who is at .791. Hesmer is second in the league in saves with 54 and ranks third in goals against average at 0.82.
Wake Forest - North Carolina: The Homecoming Game
The Demon Deacons will seek their first win against North Carolina since the 1996 ACC Tournament when the teams get together on Saturday night at Spry Stadium. Saturday will serve as Homecoming for the Wake Forest program as dozens of former players are expected to return and cheer on the current team.

Dead End Defense
Goalkeeper William Hesmer and the Deacon defense have allowed just three goals in their last 546 minutes of action, more than nine hours, dating back to the Maryland game. Wake Forest has shutout three of its last seven opponents.
When It Rains, It Pours
Any questions about Wake Forest's ability to score goals were answered last week as the Deacons found the net 16 times in just four games, including an eight-goal outburst against Charlotte on Oct. 10. The faucets were turned on against NC State with three goals but the floodgates opened against Charlotte. Wake buried eight goals including two from Jeremiah White and Scott Sealy.
Record Watch: William Hesmer
Just 16 games into his collegiate career, sophomore goalkeeper is making his mark in the record books. Hesmer has moved into 10th place all-time in saves. Although he doesn't have minutes to qualify for the other categories, he would rank second in goals against average and in save percentage.
