Wake Forest sophomore midfielder Brian Carroll is enjoying a successful stint with the U.S. Under-23 National Team. The Americans are in the midst of a European Tour. They recently completed play in an international tournament in Portugal and have arrived in Italy where they will play the Italian National Team on Thursday.

Carroll, an All-South and second-team All-ACC selection for the Demon Deacons in the fall, scored the game-winning goal on Feb. 5 for the Americans as they defeated Madeira (Portugal) Select, 2-1.
