Wake Battles To A 3-3 Draw With South Carolina

Men's soccer remains undefeated in 1999.

COLUMBIA, S.C.--The Wake Forest and South Carolina men's soccer teams played to a 3-3 tie after two overtimes here Saturday night.

Jaron Barbee, Matt Thompson and Greg Krauss gave Wake Forest its three goals, while Rodney Perry, Joey Worthen and Tim Glowienka provided the offense for the Gamecocks.

Wake Forest is now 3-0-1 and South Carolina is 2-1-1 with the tie. The Deacons will return to action Wednesday, Sept. 15, when they play host to the Davidson Wildcats. The game is set for 7 p.m. at Spry Stadium.
