Three Wake Forest football players -- offensive guard Michael Collins, wide receiver Fabian
Davis and defensive back Caron Bracy -- earned ACC Player of the Week honors on Monday.
The Deacon trio earned the honor for their performances in Saturday's 38-35 regular

of the Week honors 11 times in the 2001 season.
Collins, a 6-6, 292-pound senior from Hickory, N.C., helped Wake Forest produce 389 total
yards against Northern Illinois. For Collins, it marked the second time this season he was named
Offensive Lineman of the Week. He also earned the honor after Wake's season-opening win over
East Carolina.
Davis was named the ACC's Specialist of the Week. Davis, a 5-11, 180-pound junior from
Greenville, S.C., had 120 return yards and 65 receiving yards in the Deacons' 38-35 win over
Northern Illinois. Davis returned three kickoffs for 74 yards including a long of 37 yards. He
returned three punts for 46 yards including a long of 26 yards and caught three passes for 65 yards

bid to a postseason bowl game.
