Other diary entries
A football team is like a big fraternity. We all work out together, sit
near each other in class, and usually go to the same parties on the
weekend. However, there is one position on the team that this sometimes
doesn't apply to and that is kickers. On our team it is a little
different because our kickers do all the same workout stuff that all the
other players do. They have to run gasers and lift weights just like
everyone else. But sometimes they do strange things. If you come to
one of our practices you will see that the kickers only have a few
periods during practice where they actually do something. The rest of
the time they all just lay around in the shade and drink all of the
water. They also do strange things after practice too. Like today when
Matt Wisnosky took a shower with his cleats still on. He said something
about the water molding his shoes to his foot.
Coach Grobe tricked us
again today. We usually run gasers in the morning but we did agility
drills instead. So we all thought there were no gasers today. But it
was just a mean trick and he just made us run them in the afternoon.
Tim Bennett was not pleased.
