All 25 members of the Wake Forest football freshman class arrived on campus
Friday afternoon as they prepare for the start of preseason camp.
The Deacon rookies will go through two days of practice before the upperclassmen join them next week. The
freshman take to the field for two sessions a day on Saturday, Aug. 3 and Monday, Aug. 5.
Wake Forest¡¦s 2002 freshman class includes 19 scholarship signees and six walk-on players. Highlighting the class
is Parade All-American Bryan Andrews, a 6-6, 236-lb. linebacker from Lima, Ohio. Andrews is WFU¡¦s first
Parade All-American since 1984. The class also features five players from the state of North Carolina.
WFU head coach Jim Grobe redshirted the entire incoming freshman class last fall.
The full Demon Deacon squad begins two-a-day practices on Thursday, Aug. 8.
