After a week off for spring break, the Wake Forest football team returned to the practice field for spring drills this week. The Demon Deacons reconvened on Monday, practicing for 90 minutes in shorts and helmets and a steady rainfall. Tuesday's practice was cancelled due to weather, and the team returns to action today and Thursday for afternoon sessions (4:30-6:30 p.m.) at the campus practice field. Both days will be in full pads.

This week's practices are leading up to the first scrimmage of the spring this Saturday, March 20. The team is scheduled to go from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Groves Stadium.

This weekend's scrimmage signals the halfway point of spring camp, which ends Saturday, April 3 with a final scrimmage, also at Groves Stadium. Kickoff is set for 12 noon.
