Senior offensive tackle Mark Moroz recently accepted an invitation to participate in the Hula Bowl in Maui, Hawaii. The annual all-star game takes place Saturday, January 17th at 8 pm EST (3pm HST)and will be broadcast live on ESPN.

Moroz, who will wear his same jersey number (78) that he wore for the Demon Deacons, is a member of the Kai roster. The Kai team will take on the Aina squad. Ohio State's Jim Tressel and Maryland's Ralph Friedgen are serving as head coaches for the all-star game.

Moroz, a second-team All-ACC selection in 2003, returned early from a preseason knee injury to see action in 11 games and earn eight starting nods. The native of Welland, Ontario graded out at 87.7 percent for the season and averaged 9.1 knockdowns a contest. He was named ACC Player of the Week following his performance in Wake Forest's win over Clemson, in which he graded out at 90 percent with a team season-high 18.5 knockdowns.

Moroz, who hails from Welland, Ontario, Canada, is playing in his second all-star game. Along with WFU teammates Quintin Williams and Kellen Brantley, he played in the Blue-Gray Classic on Christmas Day. Fellow offensive lineman Tyson Clabo also represented the Deacs in the East-West Shrine Game last week.
