Saw action in all 11 games, starting two ¡K put together a very productive season after showing up to preseason practice overweight ¡K finished second on the team in rushing behind Tarence Williams with 583 yards on 137 carries and seven touchdowns ¡K averaged 53.0 yards a game, a mark that also ranked eighth in the ACC in rushing ¡K was impressive in seven carries at ECU, running up the middle for 39 yards (5.6 average) ¡K rushed 14 times for 63 yards against Appalachian State ¡K rushed six times for 24 yards against Maryland ¡K rushed for 52 yards and recorded his first career reception for 28 yards at FSU ¡K also had his first career touchdown -- a nine-yard run in the fourth quarter -- against the Seminoles ¡K rushed five times for a gain of 13 yards, scoring a TD against NC State ¡K rushed 18 times for 99 yards and two touchdowns against Duke ¡K came off the bench after Williams suffered an ankle injury against Clemson, rushing for a team-best 95 yards on 29 carries and one touchdown against the Tigers ¡K earned his first career start at Virgnia, leading the Deacons with 28 carries for a career-best 151 yards and one touchdown ¡K recorded six touchdowns in a five-game streak in midseason ¡K also started at North Carolina ¡K rushed 10 times for 41 yards and a touchdown versus Northern Illinois.

One of the few true freshmen to see action in 2000 ¡K saw action in eight games ¡K carried the ball 39 times for 126 yards ¡K averaged 3.2 yards per carry and 15.8 yards per game ¡K had five rushes against North Carolina, totaling 11 yards ¡K had a season-long 15-yard carry against Clemson ¡K overall, rushed five times for 11 yards versus the Tigers ¡K had his most productive game of the season against Vanderbilt, carrying the ball 14 times for a team-best 62 yards ¡K rushed eight times for 34 yards at Maryland -- an average of 4.3 yards per carry.
