2001: Saw his first action last season as one of three punters (along with Matt Brennie and James MacPherson) who rotated the duty in the early goings of the season ¡K Rolle eventually emerged as the Deacons' starter over the second half of the season ¡K saw action in eight games ¡K served as the starting punter in the opener at East Carolina, NC State and the final five games of the season ¡K punted 33 times for 1,246 yards ¡K averaged 37.8 yards per punt ¡K placed five kicks inside the 20 ¡K tallied three touchbacks ¡K boomed a career-long punt of 51 yards at North Carolina.
