WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -
"I am just hoping for the best right now. I am more excited than anything."
"I have been to nine (pre-draft) camps: Chicago, Portland, Seattle, LA Lakers, Utah, New Orleans, Memphis, Atlanta and Boston. I feel like each of them went pretty well. I was able to prove myself on the court and play good ball. I worked hard, played hard and finished every play. Everyone said the same thing; that they were surprised by my talent and how well I shot the ball and how hard I played defense. I know Portland's Coach Cheeks had never seen me play before and he said he was impressed. I just went out there and done the things I've always done. I just played hard. Hopefully it opened some people's eyes and showed them what I can do."
"I need to work on more footwork stuff, coming off screens and ball handling. I've been working out with Coach Battle and by myself trying to improve myself."
"The camp at Chicago was a one week deal where they tested strength, speed and agility. They did bench press, vertical jump, end-to-end of the court sprint, wingspan, box slides. I benched 185 pounds four times, reached 11-10 in the vertical jump, and measured 7-2 in wingspan."
"I would like to go to an East Coast team so that my family could see me more often, but I'll be happy going wherever I am drafted."
"The teams I have worked out for have the 15th pick on down so I'm hoping that I'll go somewhere in that range."
