Wake Forest Days In Charlotte On Thursday

"Wake Forest Days" makes a stop in Charlotte on Thursday with Demon Deacon basketball coach Skip Prosser and men's golf coach Jerry Haas headlining the list of guests.

Some former Wake Forest golfers have also been invited.

The festivities begin at 7:00 p.m. with a reception, followed by dinner at Ballantyne Country Club. Cost is $20 per person.

Directions: Directions from I-77 South: Traveling on I-77 South, take I-485 East to the Johnston Road Exit (exit #61). Turn right off exit onto New Hwy 521. Go straight through traffic light. The Ballantyne Country Club community will be about ?mile up the road, marked by landscaped stone walls with the Ballantyne Country Club logo on them.

From Hwy 51 via Elm Lane or Rea Road: Take Hwy 51 (Pineville-Matthews Road) to Rea Road or Elm Lane traveling south on either street. Turn right on Ballantyne Commons Parkway. Turn left at the traffic light onto New Hwy 51 (there are four large stone carvings on each corner of the intersection).

Main Clubhouse: Turn right into Ballantyne Country Club (street is Ballantyne Crossing Avenue). Main Clubhouse will be on your right side. The 1st right is the "Golf Entry" for people wishing to drop off their golf bags before parking. To enter the Clubhouse on the Main Level, turn right at the 2nd entrance.
