coming off an injury-plagued junior season... began the year battling
mononucleosis, which kept him sidelined most of preseason practice...

catalyst in Wake Forest’s late-season success in 1999-00 after being
inserted into the starting lineup in mid-February... started 12 of
Wake’s final 13 games (he did not start on “Senior Day”) and helped
direct the Deacons to the NIT championship... produces modest scoring
statistics but has demonstrated the ability to not only score, but
rebound, pass and play defense... a versatile player capable of playing
three positions (point guard, shooting guard, small forward)... he
played all three positions on the prep level... knows how to get the
ball to the open man at the right time... one of the best defenders on
the team with his size, quickness and long arms... at 6-5, he can pose
match-up problems for smaller opposing point guards... body fat is just
4.0 percent... could leave Wake Forest ranked among the all-time leaders
in games played... with 184 career assists, he has a chance to be ranked
among Wake’s all-time leaders in that category... has 14 career games
with four or more assists... has 12 career games with five or more
rebounds.
2000-01

13 games of the season)... hit 12-of-13 free throw attempts against ACC
competition... averaged 24.8 minutes per game in the team’s last 15
contests, including 31 minutes against New Mexico... was solid against
Notre Dame in the NIT title game with six points, four rebounds and
three assists... dished out eight assists against Duke in the ACC

first-round win over North Carolina, sinking 4-of-6 shots to go with
four assists... tied a career-high by playing 35 minutes against the Tar
Heels... played 34 minutes against Duke, scoring nine points on 2-of-3
shooting and 4-of-4 free throw attempts... scored a season-high 10
points and grabbed nine rebounds against Maryland... scored five points,

meeting of the season with North Carolina... scored seven points against
Clemson... scored eight points and was a perfect 3-of-3 from the floor
and 2-of-2 from the line against Maryland-Eastern Shore.

Rookie guard appeared in 30 of 31 contests, providing solid defense,
rebounding and play-making skills… court time increased as the season
progressed... he averaged 20.5 minutes per game in the final 22 dates
after playing just 8.6 mpg over the first eight games of the year…
started at shooting guard for 14 straight ACC contests during the second
half of the year before yielding the position to Joseph Amonett on
"Senior Day"… cracked the starting lineup for the first time versus
Virginia and netted a season-high 14 points and nine rebounds with four
assists and only one turnover in 35 minutes... followed that performance
with 11 points and four rebounds in 30 minutes in his next start at
Clemson... impressive in his first four starts (Virginia, Clemson, Duke
and Georgia Tech) as he totaled 36 points and 26 rebounds (9.0 ppg/6.5
rpg)... started and totaled nine points on 3-of-4 shooting and added
