Deacons to Host Davidson on Tuesday at Hooks Stadium

April 12, 2004

Winston-Salem, NC - Wake Forest will host Davidson on Tuesday at Hooks Stadium for a 3:00 p.m. matinee.

The Demon Deacons will send junior left-hander Tim Morley to the mound. Davidson won the earlier meeting this season, 11-9, at Wildcat Park. However, Wake Forest continues to lead the all-time series 49-8 since 1954.

In the March 23 meeting this year, Matt Antonelli went 3-for-3 with a double and two stolen bases. Ryder Mathias and Doug Riepe homered for the Old Gold and Black.

Wake Forest, which was defeated in the game's final at-bat on three straight days last weekend, will be looking to snap a 13-game losing streak and avoid tying the worst losing streak in school history, set during the 1974-75 seasons.
