DURHAM, N.C. - The Wake Forest baseball team moved up from 22nd to 18th in this week's Baseball America Top 25 poll.

The Deacons (24-9-1, 8-4 ACC) went 5-0 last week. Wake won home games against UNC Charlotte and Appalachian State before sweeping a three-game ACC series at Duke over the weekend.

Wake Forest is one of five ACC teams to be ranked in this week's Baseball America poll. Florida State heads the list, ranked number one. North Carolina and Clemson join the Tar Heels in the top 10 at eighth and ninth. After Wake at 18th, Georgia Tech rounds out the list at No. 20.

Wake will travel to Campbell and East Tennessee State this week before hosting North Carolina in a three-game series at Hooks Stadium this weekend.
