In 2004... Posted a 2-5 record with a 6.22 ERA... pitched and started in 13 games for the Deacons... recorded a team-high two complete games... threw 88.1 innings, 20 more than any other pitcher on the staff... struck out a team-high 66 hitters... did not record his first win until his eighth start where he threw a five-hit complete game effort against NC State... also struck out 10 Wolfpack hitters in the 4-1 victory... pitched seven or more innings eight times including five games of at least eight innings... threw 6.1 innings allowing two runs and striking out nine against High Point but was not the pitcher of record in a 6-5 victory... threw eight innings with seven strikeouts and allowed just three runs in a 3-1 loss at Winthrop... pitched 8.2 innings allowing five earned runs and struck out six Tar heels in a 7-3 loss to North Carolina... threw 6.2 innings allowing eight runs in the 21-16 offensive battle against Maryland and recorded his second win of the season... threw a combined 16.0 innings with 10 strikeouts and allowing just five earned runs in back-to-back starts against Elon and Virginia, but in both instances did not figure in the decision.

Prior to Wake Forest... All-Orange Empire Conference selection as the ace of the Chargers staff... follows in a long line of Cypress players to join the Deacons including former Deacons Scott Daeley, Cory Sullivan, Ryan Hubbard and Jeff Ruziecki.
