Poughkeepsie, NY --The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference held their women's water polo postseason awards banquet earlier tonight at Marist College and several Wagner Seahawks were honored. The biggest accolade went to Wagner junior Billy Hoelck (San Diego, CA/U. of San Diego HS) who was named Co-Offensive Player of the Year.

Hoelck who shared the award with Iona's Amanda Brucia tallied the honor after posting a season that has thus far seen her pile up 84 goals and 27 assists. Hoelck was also tabbed for the All-MAAC First Team along with senior co-captain Stacey Travous (New Ulm, MN/Cumberland Valley). Travous gets the nod after posting 55 goals and 14 assists through 27 games played.

Also announced this evening was the All-MAAC Academic Team which featured Stacey Travous, Corrine Travous (New Ulm, MN/Cumberland Valley), Alexandra Tomlinson (Telford, PA/Souderton), Katie Hauck (Pottsville, PA/Pottsville), and Anne Wolkenhauer (Fullerton, CA/Fullerton).

The Seahawks are back in action tomorrow at 2pm when they take on Marist College in the MAAC Championship game at Marist College.
