Staten Island, NY - The MAAC announced their weekly water polo awards earlier today and Seahawk junior Stacey Travous (New Ulm, MN/Cumberland Valley) was named offensive player of the week. This is the second time this season Travous has been bestowed such an honor.

Travous earned the nod after scoring eight goals in three games this past weekend. She added two assists for a total of 10 points. Travous also drew five ejections as Wagner went 1-2 at the Indiana Fluid Five Invitational.

Travous and the rest of the Seahawks are in action this Saturday as they will compete in the ECAC Championships held in College Park, Maryland. Fourth-seeded Wagner is set to meet the fifth-seed Brown Bears in their first game at 12:45 pm.
