Edison, NJ The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced their weekly water polo awards earlier today and two Wagner College Seahawks were honored. Senior 2M Stacey Travous (New Ulm, MN/Cumberland Valley) was named Offensive Player of the Week while classmate and goalie Katie Hauck (Pottsville, PA/Pottsville) was named Defensive Player of the Week.

Travous the senior co-captain recorded seven goals in four games at the Wolverine Invitational. To that she tacked on an assist, six steals and caused an impressive 10 ejections including drawing one five meter penalty.

Meanwhile, Hauck tallied a total of 47 saves over the four games at the University of Michigan as she averaged 11.75 saves for the weekend. To that she also added a handful of steals and a blocked five meter penalty shot.

The Seahawks (7-10) are back in action this Sunday looking to snap a five game losing streak as they take on #13 Hartwick at 11:00am in Poughkeepsie, New York.
