Edison, NJ-- The MAAC announced their weekly water polo awards earlier today and for the first time this season a Wagner Seahawk was honored as junior Billy Hoelck (San Diego, CA/U. of San Diego HS) was named offensive player of the week. Hoelck is coming off a quality offensive weekend as the Seahawks went 1-2 at the ECAC Championships.

The junior utility piled up 10 goals in three games at the ECAC Championships including a six goal outing against #20 Brown. Hoelck added five drawn ejections and a drawn 5 meter penalty along with 5 steals in the three games. She is currently tops on the Seahawks (7-6) with 38 goals this season.

Hoelck and the rest of the Seahawks are back in action in two weeks at the Wolverine Invitational held by the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI.
