Travous continued her personal 4-0 run as she opened the scoring in the third quarter with back to back goals to even the game at five with 5:01 to go in the third. A Hoelck goal would retie the game at six before Pomona-Pitzer took a 7-6 lead headed into the final stanza.

The Seahawks fell into a two goal hole in the fourth before seniors Sara Kramer (Carlisle, PA/Cumberland Valley) and Courtney Crase (Saratoga, CA/Saratoga) tallied a goal apiece to again tie the score at eight with just two minutes remaining in the game.
