Bio/Personal

Owen joins the Seahawks and will bring depth to the 2M position. Owen played her high school water polo at Homewood-Flossmoor for coach Pat Duignan. Owen was part of a sectional championship team in her sophomore and junior seasons and added a third place finish at state championships her junior year. Picked up the always coveted "Pride, Hustle, and Desire" award as a senior. Also a member of the swim team for four seasons. Comes from a swimming family. Brother (Clay) swam for the University of Kentucky from 2001-2005. Currently other brother (Case) swims for Southern Illinois University and sister (Tovah) is beginning her first season for the Salukis as well. Daughter of Daryle Ann and Mike Gasparovich and Add Owen. She is majoring in Sociology.
