Senior Lydia Emnott leads the team and is fifth in the NEC with 6.32 assists per game

Nov. 9, 2006

STATEN ISLAND, NY -Senior setter Lydia Emnott (Neenah, WI / Neenah) was named to the ESPN the Magazine / College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-American Team for District I as released by the organization earlier today. She was a second-team All-District pick.

Emnott, who has a 3.84 grade point average in chemistry, is the Seahawks team-captain on and off the floor and has been a major reason why Wagner clinched their first NEC Tournament berth since the 2001 season.

She is currently fifth in the NEC with 6.32 assists per game and is second in school-history in total assists with 2,575.

Emnott and the rest of the Seahawks will next be in action on Saturday, Nov. 11 at 12 pm when the Green & White host Robert Morris.
