Staten Island, NY - Head Wagner women's volleyball coach Kevin Michael Papa has announced the hiring of Jackie Poston as the squad's assistant coach. Poston attended Marist College from 2003-2007 where she was a four-year letterwinner for the Red Foxes while helping them to double-digits in wins in three of her four seasons.

She graduated in 2007 from Marist with a degree in Sports Communication. Prior to playing for the Red Foxes Poston helped lead Northern High School to the 2001 Maryland State Title.

Poston joins a Seahawk-club that is looking for their second-straight postseason berth after going 4-4 and reaching the NEC Tournament last year. In addition to playing the role of assistant coach she will also serve as Wagner's Intramural Coordinator.

Wagner returns eight letterwinners and four starters from last year's team that went 9-23 before suffering a tough five-set loss in the NEC Tournament.

The Green & White kick off their season with a Labor Day tilt against Navy on Monday, Sept. 3 at 2 pm.
