Loretto, PA - Wagner saw its losing streak hit 13 with a three-set loss on the road at Saint Francis (PA). The Seahawks dropped the match by scores of 30-16, 30-20 and 30-28 in moving to 2-14 and 0-5 in the Northeast Conference (NEC). The Red Flash improves to 8-17 and 2-1 in the NEC.

The Green & White were out-hit .250-.125 and were done in by nine Red Flash aces, compared to just two for the Seahawks.

Freshman Ashley Pepper (Washington Court House, OH / Washington Senior) led the way for Wagner with a match-high 14 kills, on .111 hitting. Fellow freshman Jennifer Lechman (Effingham, IL / Effingham) paced the setting-unit with 15 assists while classmate Erin Henneberger (Livonia, MI / Ladywood) recorded 10 assists. Also standing out for the Green & White were sophomore Alex Klein (Cresent Springs, KY / Notre Dame Academy) (13 digs) and freshman Kelsey Rose (Springfield Township, OH / Roger Bacon) (10 digs).

Shirley Miller (13 kills) and Kristin Buter (10 kills) highlighted the SFPA attack.

Wagner will next host La Salle on Tuesday at 8 pm at the Spiro Sports Center.
