Kevin Papa is now in his sixth season as head coach of the Seahawks volleyball team.

In 2006, Papa helped lead the Seahawks to their first NEC Tournament berth since 2001 and the most wins (9) since the 1999 season. Also under his direction Brandy Barnett earned Second Team All-NEC honors, marking just the fifth time in school-history that a Seahawk earned All-Conference accolades.

Papa became just the second coach in the history of Wagner volleyball in 2003. During his first season atop Grymes Hill he ushered in the largest recruiting class in program history adding 11 newcomers to the roster.

The 33-year-old Papa came to Wagner after serving two seasons as an Assistant Coach at fellow Northeast Conference institution Fairleigh Dickinson. The Mahwah, NJ native also established four years of club volleyball coaching experience and attended Penn State University.
