San Diego, CA -- The Wagner College women's swim team took part in an exhibition type meet against the University of California-San Diego and the University of Utah during their yearly training trip. This year's trip took the team to San Diego, California for over a week. In this particular meet there were no team scores and it was comprised of various relays. In the 600 yard butterfly relay, Wagner took fourth place at a time of 6:54.57. In the third event the Seahawks pulled in third place in the 600 yard backstroke relay at 7:02.97, while again grabbing third place in the 600 yard breaststroke relay at a time of 7:49.83. Moving along to the seventh event of the day, Wagner finished in fourth place in the 500 yard freestyle relay with a time of 4:55.78, and rounded out the meet with a seventh place time in the 300 yard medley relay at 3:26.63. Wagner will next be in action in their lone home meet of the season, a January 19th meeting with Mt. St. Mary's. This will also serve as senior night for the Seahawks. |
