Final Stats

West Hartford, CT - The Wagner College women's golf team finished up a two-day extravaganza at the Wampanoag Country Club today by finishing in 8th place out of 12 schools that competed in the annual Hartford Women's Invitational.

Pacing the Seahawks in the tournament was sophomore Emily Noelker (Southbury, CT/Pomperaug) who shot an opening round 85 and bested that today with an 81 to finish with a combined score of 166, good enough for a tie for 8th place.

Senior Alysse Sweeney (Wayne, NJ/Wayne Hills) and senior Caitlin Miller (Sutter Creek, CA/Amador) both completed the tournament with a two-round score of 181, pitting them in a tie for 34th.

Freshman Jessica Nees (Red Lodge, MT/Keystone National) and junior Kathleen Norton (Boston, MA/Boston Latin) rounded out the Green & White squad with scores of 199 and 208, respectively.

The Seahawks now look forward to their next competition in Kutztown, Pennsylvania next Thursday and Friday (April 21-22).
