Wilkes-Barre, PA - The Wagner College wrestling team competed at the 2007 Wilkes-Barre Open this past Friday. Below are the results from the tournament which was a non-team scoring event.

The Seahawks were lead by two of their elder-statesmen, seniors Mike Tutunjian at 141 lbs. (Ridge, NY/Longwood) and Patrick Larkin at 149 lbs. (Danbury, CT/Danbury) who both recorded three wins in the highly-competitive double-elimination tournament.

Tutunjian needed just one more victory against East Stroudsburg's Sean Carr to reach the finals of the one-loss bracket for a chance for either third or fourth place. Unfortunately for the redshirt-senior it wasn't in the cards, as he fell in a tight 8-6 decision.

The Seahawks now look forward to next Friday when they travel to nearby New Brunswick, New Jersey where they'll compete against Lock Haven and Rutgers University.
