Dec. 2, 2006 Staten Island, NY - The Wagner College Wrestling team lost their second home match of the season tonight at the Spiro Sports Center, falling to Franklin & Marshall College, 45-5. The Seahawks were highlighted by senior Justin Ensign (Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill East) who continues a solid 2006 campaign thus far by being the only Seahawk to come up victorious on the night with a 19-3 technical fall over Diplomat grappler Al Gianforti in the 149 lb. weight class. Ensign now has an individual mark of 4-2 on the season. All other Seahawk wrestlers fell short to their Franklin & Marshall opponent, with all but two matches ending in a pin in the visitor's favor. The Seahawks next match comes Dec. 28 when they compete in the Wilkes Open in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. |
