Feb. 17, 2007 Providence, RI - The Wagner College wrestling team dropped two non-conference matches to Brown University, 46-0 and American International, 39-8 respectively on a one-day New England road stint. The trip was capped off by two individual wins by Seahawks in the loss to American International later in the day. Senior Justin Ensign (Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill East) won in a major decision over Yellow Jacket Chris Bukowski, 16-3 in their 149 lb. bout. The senior - who leads Wagner in overall victories on the season - now stands with a record of 9-12 on the year. Sophomore Sean Quinn (Barnegat, NJ/Southern Regional) won by a 12-9 decision over AIC grappler Chris Mullinix. The Seahawks now look forward to this Tuesday when they travel to Dover, Delaware to compete against CAA rival Delaware State at 7 p.m. |
