Results

Staten Island, NY - The Wagner College men's wrestling hosted the Duquesne Dukes tonight at the Wagner College Spiro Sports Center. After a hard fought match, the Dukes came out on top with a final score of 42-3.

It was senior recognition day for the Seahawks as Mike Rooney (New Milford, NJ / New Milford) and John Cichon (Mount Marion, NY / Saugerties) wrestled their last match in the Spiro Sports Center.

Many of the matches were close with only Cichon coming away with a win by defeating Duquesne's Joe D'Orsie. Other notables include junior Mike Tutunjian (Ridge, NY / Longwood), freshman Sean Quinn (Barnegat, NJ / Southern Regional), and freshman Nick Magaraci (Norwood, NJ / Old Tappan).

This was the second and last home match for the Seahawks this season as they will be on the road against Columbia and Brown on Friday the 17th.
