Staten Island, NY - The Wagner College wrestling team hosted their first home match this year at the Spiro Sports Center and lost to Boston University by a score of 49-2.

The Seahawks are just coming off a loss to Delaware Valley College on Friday and hosted the Boston Terriers for the first of their two home matches this year. Scoring points for Wagner in today's match included freshman Richard Englehardt (Deer Park, NY / Deer Park) who won a forfeit in the 133 wt. class and junior Patrick Larkin (Danbury, CT / Danbury) who wrestled a great bout, defeating Boston's Mike Cubillos in a decision of 5-1.

Another notable in today's match was junior Justin Ensign (Cherry Hill, NJ /Cherry Hill East) who came close to defeating Michael Roberts in a 6-5 decision.

The Seahawks host another home match on Friday 10th, as they will take on Sacred Heart in a duals match which has a start time of 7:00 pm.
