Results

Fairfax, VA - Wagner College men's wrestling won their first CAA Dual match this weekend at George Mason University. The Seahawks defeated Binghamton University with a score of 25-19.

Sophomore Adam Amster (Concord, MA / Concord Carlisle Regional) came through big for the Seahawks in their win against Binghamton. Amster wrestled up two weight classes from his regular weight and provided a challenge for Binghamton's Kevin Owen. Though, outweighed by almost fifteen pounds, Amster was able to provide enough points for Wagner to win the match.

Other notables include Joe Eurell, Sean Quinn, Justin Ensign, John Cichon, and Nick Magaraci, all of whom aided in the defeat on Binghamton.

The Seahawks also competed against James Madison (L, 30-12), George Mason (L, 53-0), Rider (L, 51-0), and Campbell University (22-20).

Campbell University was barely able to keep Wagner from a victory while Seahawk juniors Patrick Larkin (Danbury, CT / Danbury) and Mike Tutunjian (Ridge, NY / Longwood) picked up their seventh and tenth wins of the season.

The Seahawks have a week off from wrestling and will resume with their matches on February, 3 at Delaware Valley College with a start time of 7:00 pm.
