Hampton, VA - The Wagner College wrestling won its second match in as many days, besting St. Andrews 38-13 in a consolation match after losing first to Gannon 41-6 at the Virginia Duals this afternoon.

In the win, the Seahawks erased an early 9-0 St. Andrews' advantage by stringing together wins in six of the next seven weight classes to sure up the triumph.

It was veteran senior Mike Tutunjian (Ridge, NY/Longwood) who got the party started, as he won for the third time in as many decisions, this time pinning Troy Baranik in 1:13 for six team points.

The next four Seahawk wins were all by way of forfeit until 197-pound senior Anthony Interiano (Sound Beach, NY/Miller Place) earned a technical fall against Charles Richardson (16-0) followed last but not least by senior 285-pound John Graeffe - the Seahawks' resident behemoth - who earned his first victory of the season by defeating Andre Elerbe in a 4-1 decision.

Prior to the win, in the first match, Wagner found itself down fast to a strong Gannon squad. The only points (six) they earned were courtesy of a Gannon forfeit at 197.
