Staten Island, NY - The Wagner College men's golf team ended a one-round quad match in second place yesterday at their home course, the Richmond County Country Club.

Due to two schools canceling the quad turned into a head-to-head match between Farleigh Dickinson University and the Seahawks. The Knights wound up coming out on top, 316 to Wagner's combined 329.

Senior Chris DeCarlo (Manchester, CT/Manchester) was once again the low Seahawk in the clubhouse - as he's been for every tournament Wagner competed in this year - at the day's end turning in a scorecard of 77, which tied FDU's Joe Manganiello for best score for both sides.

Sophomore Christopher Fourman (Greenville, OH/Greenville) was next, penciling in an 80 onto his proverbial scorecard. Senior Charles Lupardo (Staten Island, NY/Susan Wagner) recorded an 85, while sophomore Chris Meehan (Scotch Plains, NJ/Morristown Beard) posted an 87.

Senior Peter Aloisio (Floral Park, NY/Archbishop Molloy) rounded out the Seahawks by shooting a 90 for the round.

That wraps up the fall season for the Seahawk men, they will continue in the spring where they look to capture a Northeast Conference title.
