Oct. 17, 2006

Final Stats

Telford, PA - The Wagner College men's golf team ended a two-round winner-take-all tournament in 9th place out of 11 teams this weekend at the Indian Valley Country Club in the annual Don Mershon Classic/Lehigh University Invitational.

Senior Chris DeCarlo (Manchester, CT/Manchester) was the low Seahawk in the clubhouse at the tournament's end - as he has for every tournament thus far this fall - turning in a more than respectable overall three-round scorecard of 83/77 (160) good enough for a 26th overall finish out of the 53 golfers that competed.

Sophomore Matt Wagner (State College, PA/Huntington Area) was next, chalking up a score of 85/78 (163) pitting him in a tie for 29th. Sophomore Christopher Fourman (Greenville, Oh/Greenville) composed a tally of 80/89 (169) putting him in a tie for 44th, while sophomore Charles Lupardo's (Staten Island, NY/Susan B. Wagner) persuance went 84/85 (169) for a tie for 44th.

Senior Peter Aloisio (Floral Park, NY/Archbishop Molloy) rounded out the group going 94/85 (179), good enough for a tie for 51st.

The Seahawks next trial on the course comes at home Oct. 24 when they host their own quad match at the Richmond County Country Club.
