Neshanic Valley, NJ - The Wagner College men's golf team ended a one-round quad match in third place yesterday at the Rock Springs Golf Course.

Senior Chris DeCarlo (Manchester, CT/Manchester) was once again the low Seahawk in the clubhouse - as he's been for every tournament Wagner's competed in thus far - at the day's end turning in a respectable score of 74, four strokes behind the winner, Chris Merce from St. Peter's College.

Senior Peter Aloisio (Floral Park, NY/Archbishop Molloy) was next, penciling in a 79 onto his proverbial scorecard. Sophomore Chris Meehan (Scotch Plains, NJ/Morristown Beard) notched an 80, while sophomore Charles Lupardo's (Staten Island, NY/Susan B. Wagner) rounded out the Seahawks shooting an 81.

The Seahawks next trial on the course comes Oct. 15 when they compete in the Don Mershon/Lehigh Invitational in Center Valley, Pa.
