Orlando, FL - The Wagner men's golf team ended their campaign this season with a 9th place finish at the NEC Championships at Disney's Lake Buena Vista Golf Course. St. Francis (PA) took first place, edging out Quinnipiac University by 2 strokes.

This year's team MVP, junior Chris DeCarlo (Manchester, CT/Manchester) was the low player for the Seahawks after the second and final round finishing in a tie for 17th place overall. The Nutmeg State wunderkind followed up a 76 from yesterday with an even 80 today which left him with a cumulative score of 156 for the tournament.

The next low member of the Green & White was senior Joe Bacher (Gibsonia, PA/Pine Richard) who finished in 42nd place with back to back scores of 86 and 82 (168). Following him was freshman Christopher Fourman (Greenville, OH/Greenville) with 81/89=170, then senior James Dougherty (Saugerties, NY/The Pendleton School) with 91/81=172.

Rounding out the squad was junior Charles Lupardo (Staten Island, NY/Susan Wagner) with 85/93=178.
